No bootable device found after TestDisk write

    Hello community,

I have 1 TB HDD which had many partitions,. of which one partition became RAW because of chkdsk. So, in order to repair it, I used TestDisk. I selected my disk, pressed Intel, then Analyse, then write, then Restart. Now, it cannot be restarted and shows "No Bootable Device found".

From what I've understood, I may have written incorrect Partition and now it has destroyed it. I quickly downloaded and made my pendrive bootable with DiskGenius in another computer and used it to detect that everything is under extended partition. I also used Find Lost Position and to my luck, it came back, but to write it, it will require paid version :

Now, looking forward for my geeks to help me in this please.

    :)

    Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

    1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
    2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
    3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

How To Format A Write Protected Flash Memory ?

    ¿You already tried this one?...

    Run CMD

    1. diskpart
    2. list disk

Then in the 3º step, put the correct number of disk in the list for the usb flash (if it's listed in disk 3, then you'll have to write select disk 3).

    2. select disk #
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

with that commands you will format the flash drive in fat32, if you have a large drive you can select also "format fs=ntfs" in step 7.

    good luck!
