Windows 10: No booting after system breakdown

Hi everyone.

During normal use my Samsung series 5 ultrabook started to slow down and eventually froze. Task manager was not responding and I had to do a hard shut down using the power button also because I heard some clicking from the pc (hard-drive? Motherboard?).

Restart did not work.

After the Samsung logo I received the error message:

"all boot option tried. Press f4 key to recover with factory image using recovery or any others key for next boot loop iteration."

Changing the boot settings in bios as recommended my the community did not make the trick and the system won't start.

What now?

My suspect either a hardware issue or a partition error as I reset my laptop a couple weeks ago and did some partition rearrangement. Maybe I screwd something up there.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

Since the issues have started when you installed the antivirus program, have you tried disabling it and see if it helps? Also, kindly try the troubleshooting step below and see if it can help resolve your issue:

• Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing and corrupted system files.
