Discus and support No cameras are attached. error 0xA00F4244 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; My web cam had been working fine but then stopped a couple of months ago with this error 0xA00F4244.     No cameras are attached. error 0xA00F4244


    My web cam had been working fine but then stopped a couple of months ago with this error 0xA00F4244. I ran the trouble shooter, it did not help. I then searched google for help and followed suggests that were given, one being to go into device manage to find my camera device. I do not see it. It is not listed as camera, it is not under imaging devices and it is not under "sound, video and game controllers. After I have tried everything and am ready to give up, I find the camera working. It was not due to any of the trouble shooting suggenstions. Then a day or so later I get the same error

    Error code 0xA00F4244 No Cameras Are Attached

    Whenever I click on the Microsoft camera app I get a message saying that "We can't find your camera" and the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> The "Get Help thing troubleshooted it, and reset it. Still didn't work. It also had me look under Device
    Manager and under camera/ imaging devices and my camera was not listed. Not sure if the device manager one only works for USB cameras though. Then the "Get Help" said "I don't have any further troubleshooting steps for this right now." and listed a
    few options for getting help which led me here.
