Windows 10: No context options in pinned aps, no ms store app, no photos/paint/video apps after install.

IS MY WINDOWS 11 INSTALL MESSED UP & HOW DO I GET BACK THE CONVENIENT OPTIONS?Hey, so I'm confused as if my windows Win 11 Pro installation is broken or not...After installing windows there was no Store App present fixed by downloading Xbox app from the web and updating itThere were no photos, media, or paint apps present after installing and updating windows.There are a couple of little things missing too. For example when you right-click an app pinned in the taskbart no context options, like new window or incognito appear in the list......or right-clicking a .zir/.rar file don't show

Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

Hello,

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

• On the Start menu, select Settings.
  
• Go to System, then go to Default apps.
  
• Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
  Photo viewer.

Just to make it simple for you, just could always do this





If you don't get Paint 3D in the list as i do, simply press Choose another app, and pick Paint 3D in the list.

But if you want to fix the context menu download,
Default Programs Editor (Context Menu) > run the program > find the correct file type > edit the filetype > done.

• Refer to
  fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store.
  

Reset Paint 3D app:

• Open ‘Settings’ and click on ‘Update and Security’.
  
• Click on ‘Apps’ and choose ‘Apps and features’.
  
• Locate the ‘Paint 3D’ app and click on it.
  
• Select ‘Advanced options’ and choose ‘Reset’.
  
• Wait for the reset to complete.
  
• Close settings, launch ‘Paint 3D’ and try saving now.
