Windows 10: no cursor

    Computer boots, no screen, no cursor, no nothing.

    Discovered the solution on my own. You must go to the website of the manufacture of your display driver and download the most recent driver there then reinstall it. Microsoft's feature under the Properties tab to "update display drivers" is bogus. I
    did this 3-4 times and each time Microsoft said "I've the latest driver installed". A quick look at nVidia proved that to be incorrect. Now my system works as before Windows 10 update.

    We're glad to know that you were able to sort it out. The display issue that you experienced resulted from an incorrect driver update for some display adapters. The driver update has been corrected now.

    no cursor

    Got a mouse or just a touchpad. Either way, check to see if the drivers are up to date for Win 10.

    Shut down the PC, remove the battery(or/and remove AC) press Power button, reconnect everything and start.

    Do you mean cursor or mouse pointer? Two different things. Cursor shows when you are editing a file for instance.
