Windows 10: No disk appears on WinRE

Hi, I have a problem with WinREWhen I use "diskpart" and "list disk", it announces that "There are no fixed disks to show".There is only Boot X: volume.Please help me to fix it and make OS, Data,... volume appear on WinRE.I am using Asus zenbook 14 - Win10 home single 22H2 19045.4780Thanks all

WinRE partition not set properly after hard disk image restored to another disk

The BCD needs to be rebuilt. Please boot into WinRE using the USB setup disk and open the WinRE Command Prompt.

In WinRE Command Prompt, run:

• diskpart
  
• sel dis 0
  
• list vol
  

Post the output.

 

How do I (mount and) copy the contents of (hidden) WinRE?

I have a WinRE partition at the end of my SSD and I want to move it down following the Win NTFS system partition so I can install Linux in the fourth position.

I would recommend assigning a drive letter to it and obtaining a copy of the WinRE.wim file. You'll need it to move the recovery environment somewhere later. You can obtain a copy of this file in other ways, but it will be easier just to get it ahead of time.

How to make a hidden partition visible says how to launch Disk Management to access Admin Privileges. But the steps say to right click on the hidden partition, but Disk Management never give me anything more than “help” popup.

Please let us know, if you have made any changes prior to this issue.

I suggest you to remove the partition and check.

To delete an existing partition from Windows 10:

• Follow the instructions from step 1 to 5 from the above section.
• From the right pane of the Disk Management section, right-click the volume (partition) that you want to delete.
• From the context menu that appears, click Delete Volume.
