    Bios keeps resetting...not the battery

I'm having problems with a abit AW9D Max board in an older build of mine that keeps resetting the bios everytime I shut it down. The time is ok so I assume it's not the battery but the other settings such as Uguru setting, ram and other stuff resets to defaults*Wtf :wtf: I've had this computer for a few years with nothing like this happening till now. I'd just leave everything at default but the Uguru alarm goes off whenever I start it and I have to disable it in the bios. Any suggestions on what I can try?

    BIOS defaulting to monitor 1

    Hi,

Booting from a flash drive requires changing the boot order in the BIOS settings. Since your laptop defaults to its attached screen, you can press
FN + F5 hotkey to change the display so you can access the BIOS to change the Boot Order settings. You can refer to your device manual or contact your device manufacturer on how to change your BIOS settings.

Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS
settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

In Windows 10, you can follow the steps below to set your external monitor as the main display:

    • Right click or press and hold on your desktop, click/tap on Display settings.
    • On the right side of Display, click/tap on the display number at the top that you want to make the main display, and check the Make this my main display box under Multiple displays.

Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to get back to us.
