Windows 10: No display output after windows update AMD

So today I rebuilt my computer because I thought my motherboard had failed but lo and behold I am back to square one.


The symptom: no display output from the computer. BIOS beeps indicating a VGA hardware issue


The scenario:


I had this issue earlier in the week with no video output so I pulled the graphics card and used the onboard graphics, still no life in the monitor.


I put it down to a CPU or Mobo failure, so off I go and buy new RAM, CPU, SSD and motherboard.


I then get windows 10 pro x64 installed and working fine, run windows update and now I am back to square one., dead screen. Called microsoft support and they say it is a hardware problem but I cannot fathom this as everything was working literally 20 minutes ago.


When I say dead screen it won't even load the bios splash screen on boot (as what happened with the previous motherboard, so maybe there was nothing wrong with it after all)


BTW the mobo is an ASUS A320M-K with a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU, corsair ddr4 2x8GB ram and a Kingston M2 SSD.


I have pulled each component individually and still get the same beeps, apart from the CPU as it probably won't even start without the CPU. Anyone offer any advice?


The last updates that I think were being installed via WU was AMD drivers so maybe the BIOS or Chipset had been updated and it has now trashed it.

What is the make and model of the computer?

Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
• Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
• Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.
• Restart the computer after its updated and verify.

If the issue still persists then i suggest you to contact the AMD manufacturer support website and check if it helps.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

If you see the black screen or have a flickering screen follow the steps given below:

• Try connecting to different video outputs on the PC. Sometimes a change in driver can cause the video to be sent:
  

• To a different Adapter: from integrated graphics to a discrete card or vice versa.
  
• To a different output: from HDMI to DVI, DisplayPort to VGA, or any other combination.
  

• Try to boot into Safe Mode with Networking or Enable low-resolution video.

• Advanced boot options, Safe　Mode with Networking, or Low Resolution Video
• Check Device Manager and look　for Display Adapters

• If you see 2 items under Display Adapters, disable to integrated video card (e.g. Intel HD 4000 or AMD Radeon HD 4200) and restart. (try vice versa if it does not work) 　　
  
• If you see 1item under Display Adapters, rollback the driver or uninstall the display　adapter in Device Manager, and enable the option to delete driver software.
  

Check the PC or display adapter manufacturer’s site for an updated driver.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
