  2. Problems after new gpu

    • Previous Display adapters keep reinstalling after uninstalling (tried using DDU in safe mode.) Sometimes, it says the driver adapter can uninstall because its descendants refused to.
    • Valorant graphics look weird after installing new gpu (Valorant graphics looks normal after taking out the new gpu
It's my first time upgrading a pc so I don't know what to do.

  3. Gpu and display problem

    Hello,wahab hadi

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your GPU and display. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check power connections: Make sure that your new graphics card is securely connected to the power supply using the appropriate cables.
    2. Re-seat the GPU: Remove the new graphics card and re-insert it into the PCI-E slot, ensuring that it is properly seated. Double-check that any securing mechanisms, such as screws or latches, are properly engaged.
    3. Check compatibility: Ensure that your new AMD Radeon 6650XT is compatible with your system, including the power supply and motherboard. Check the manufacturer's specifications for any specific requirements. I've seen cases where it could be memory stick compatibility, you could try plugging in just one memory stick to observe how the problem manifests itself.
    4. Install drivers: If you can access your system, try updating the drivers for your new graphics card. Visit the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your specific model. If your CPU does not have a core graphics chip, it may cause your machine not to light up. You can access the system installation by switching back to the RTX 2060, or if your model supports core chips, consider not installing the AMD 6650XT and see if you can access the system.
    5. Clear CMOS: Reset the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) by removing the motherboard's CMOS battery or using the CMOS reset jumper, following your motherboard's manual. This can help resolve any compatibility issues.
    6. Test with a different monitor or cable: Connect your computer to a different monitor or use a different cable to rule out any issues with the display or cable.
    7. Test the GPU in safe mode: Reinstall your old GPU and check if it works properly. If it does, it could indicate an issue with the new graphics card. To do this, start from the third step:

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it may be best to contact the manufacturer's technical support or seek assistance from a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
