Discus and support no external CD ROM drive seems to work with windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; hi,i have bought about 3 external CD ROM drive.1 from TEMU1 from Aliexpress1 from our local MAKRO storeand none of them work with windows 11.strangely,...     hi,i have bought about 3 external CD ROM drive.1 from TEMU1 from Aliexpress1 from our local MAKRO storeand none of them work with windows 11.strangely, i have an apple SuperDrive, which, after loading the driver from the BootCamp, works just superb !!please could anyone assist

    DVD/CD Drive Saying CD-Rom

    My Dvd drive is listed in my device manager however it is set as cd rom in the description, it also wont open and is not set as my default drive, any suggestions?

    windows 10 if that changes anything

    • What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
      winver in Windows search/Run command)
    • What is the make and model of the PC?
    • What is the make and model of the CD ROM device?
    • What is the error you receive, when you plug in the CD ROM?
