Windows 10: No Gestures settings available under the touchpad settings in Windows 11 build 22000.708...

I am looking for a help in enabling a few more settings usually seen by default under the touchpad settings in Win 11. I am unable to find the settings, especillay to change the 3 tap action to use it as 'middle mouse button' instead of 'launch action center'. Tried thoroughly checking the elan touchpad app ver: 21.2.28.7, there is no option to set this, there is just an check box to either enable/disable 3 finder tap. My screenshot below shows no settings other than 'Taps' that too has only the sensitivity adjustment, can someone help please?

The touchpad gesture settings depends on the model of the laptop that you are using.



For us to investigate more on this, please share the details requested below:

• Were you able to find the gesture settings earlier?
  
• What is the make and model of the laptop that you are using?
  
• What is the version of Windows 10 that you are using currently? To check type
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

However, as you have already tried updating the Touchpad drivers, I would suggest you to check if there any pending Windows updates on the computer. You can navigate to
Start >> Settings >> Update & Security >> Windows Update >> Check for updates.

2. Were there any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?

Disabling touchpad gestures in Windows 10

Hi Andrzej,

Precision touchpad is one of the improvements recently brought to Windows 10 to support touch gestures. Is you device running on Windows Creators Update? If yes, follow the steps below to disable touchpad:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Ease of Access.
• Click Touchpad.
• Under Touchpad, toggle the switch on or off.
• You can also uncheck the box beside Leave touchpad on the when a mouse is connectedoption to disable it when you use a traditional mouse.
  

Once done with the steps above, check if the issue will persist.
