  2. Bye bye weirdo

Are you running win 10 pro? If not gpedit cannot be used because it is not built in.

Cannot turn off background picture on Windows 10 lock screen

I am running Windows 10 Pro

When I type in "gpedit" (without quotes) in the run box I get a message saying that gpedit cannot be found. As a result, I cannot proceed with the rest of your instructions.

I have it on my Pro but you do have to put the .msc on it otherwise Run doesn't see it as executable.

Or, if you didn't disable search, just click Start and type gpedit (gp should be enough) and press enter.
