no hd audio manager in windows 11, and no abilitiy to split front and back audio ports

ever since i upgrade to windows 11 i no longer have the realtek hd audio manager, i need it back, ive reinstalling the drivers, downloading the microsoft drivers from windows update, ive gotten new drivers from my motherboards manufacturer, ive gotten it directly from realtek, but nothing is giving me back the hd audio manager. it was the only tool that allowed me to split my front and back audio ports, without the ability to split the audio ports windows 11 is useless and i may go back to windows 10

    :)

Rear audio ports always show as “Not plugged in”

I've been having this issue with Windows for about a week now which NONE of the back panel/front panel connectors (speakers, microphone) are being recognized by Realtek audio manager. The only audio input/outputs that are showing are the optical.
Troubling shooting steps I've tried (none worked):

    • COMPLETELY uninstall all Realtek drivers/reinstall
    • Tried using windows drivers
    • Reinstall Windows 10
    • Upgraded chipset driver
    • sfc /scannow
I called EVGA and asked for RMA but then I booted into a Ubuntu OS and all the ports work FINE. It must be a problem with windows 10.
Can you think of any other troubling shooting step I can try to fix this annoying issue? Thanks!

After looking in Device Manager under Audio inputs and outputs, I don't see any speaker/microphone listings, only the optical crap:

  3. Split audio output Realtek HD Audio

    Hi Connor,

Not sure if you managed to solve this problem, but I seem to have stumbled on a solution.

The standard Realtek audio processors are able to split different applications to different outputs. I managed to succeed with Music from Google Chrome on my speakers, and CS:GO on my headphones by doing the following:

•Ensured both devices were plugged in and assigned their respective categories (speaker/Headphones out) in
    Realtek Audio Manager

•Went to Control Panel -> Sound and ensured both devices were showing on the list

•Set "Speakers" as my default device

Launched CS:GO and changed the Audio output to
    "Headphones" in the game options.

I hope this helps anyone seeking a solution.

Realtek HD Audio Manager thinks that headphones are a microphone

The headphones have no microphone attached to it. There is only one cord/plug.

I have popup enabled for when Realtek Audio Manager finds a device.

The ports being greyed out mean that there is no device plugged in (that it can notice). If a port is black, like in the above screenshots, that means Realtek HD Audio Manager believes something's plugged in there. The problem is that the Audio Manager thinks
the headphones are plugged into the microphone port, but they are actually in the headphone port.

If I go over to the microphone tab like you suggest, nothing changes.
