Windows 10: No HDMI display after update?

Recently, when ever I turn my pc on, the HDMI has no input. Everywhere else I've looked keeps talking about updating drivers or enter in safe mode. Basically anything that you have to have the display for. Which I cant do any of it since I have no display. This was only after the windows update. Before hand, my pc booted just fine. I haven't moved or changed anything, besides the windows update, which my pc automatically did itself. I'm trying to get my display up so I can go back to my recover point from a few weeks ago. But since I have no display I haven't been able to do that.

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

Have you tried to reconfigure your audio settings? If not, try to change your audio output settings to HDMI by following the steps below:

• Press Windows ( ) key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click Hardware & Sound.
• Click Manage Audio Devices.
• Select the HDMI device listed under the Playback tab.
• Click Set as default and click Ok.

Also, we suggest to update your audio driver.
