Windows 10: No HDMI signal via USB-C to my second monitor after win update

Hi,I've just updated Windows with 2024-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5035853. As soon as the laptop restarted I did not get HDMI singal in my second monitor to which I connect via USB-C.Can you please help me?thank you

Monitor not working - HDMI has no signal

Yesterday, my ASUS monitor was working fine connected to my HP spectrum using Windows 10. Today, the monitor delivers a no HDMI signal message. I have restarted both laptop and monitor, replaced the HDMI cable, updated display driver and still no luck.
Suggestions welcome.

Problem was solved after another Windows update, with a FDTI Port driver.

The problem was, that the laptops both showed, that they were connected to an external monitor, but every monitor we tried (HDMI, DVI, USB-C) did not receive a signal.

 

Laptop not projecting signal / detecting additional monitors

My laptop previously connected no problem to an external monitor via HDMI. Now, the monitor displays "no signal from HDMI" when connected, and my laptop does not "detect" an external monitor. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Reboot

replaced HDMI

Used different cables/ HDMI to USB -C adapter

Tried separate monitors

Uninstalled graphics drivers and hidden generic monitors

Cleared cache/temp files

system restore

Still, it does not pick up an external monitor. What can I do to fix this? The port itself has no damage, but it somehow does not seem to recognize that a monitor gets plugged in and therefore does not send a signal via HDMI or USB-C.
