Windows 10: No iCloud Photos in thenew Photos app

In the new Windows 11 22H2 update, there is a new photos app. Recently it got released to everyone, I was exited and I downloaded it. Once I have download the app, I see that in the photos app there isn't a option for iCloud Photos! I have the iCloud app installed, and the iCloud Photos turned on. I don't know why I don't have the option.the

Remove iCloud Photos from Devices and Drives View in File Explorer

Steps:

1. Open regedit (Win+R, "regedit")
2. Enter key in address bar
3. Deprecate key
   • Opt A. - delete
   • Opt B. - rename something different (e.g. prefix with "_")
4. Close and re-open to observe result

Key:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{F0D63F85-37EC-4097-B30D-61B4A8917118}

Iphone pics to HP Laptop/icloud/photos app

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand your concern, to import photos or videos using photos app
make sure your phone is unlocked, and when you see the
Trust this device
notification, select Accept. If iCloud is enabled on your iOS device, you won’t be able to download your photos
or videos, since they then exist on iCloud and not on your device. If you want to import your photos or videos to your PC, do so via the iCloud desktop app.

I suggest you to refer the articles on

See all your photos for more information on importing your photos to your PC.

If you are still unable to import your photos to your PC using Photos application, I suggest you to refer to following article on

and try few basic troubleshooting steps to resolve issues with Photos app.
