Windows 10: No icons loading on taskbar, clicking on it crashed windows explorer

When i boot up my PC from cold, the task bar loads in without any icons on it. it is unresponsive to single clicks. if i double click anywhere on the taskbar, all of windows explorer crashes and restarts. about 6 times out of 10 after the crash my taskbar icons appear and everything works, but the other times the icons still wont load and only restarting my computer will allow me to try again with a chance of things appearing.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
