    No IDEA ATA/ATAPI Controllers and watchdog violation blue screens?


    Hello, I've received a few dozen watchdog violation blue screens which looks to generally be caused by a driver issue. Many have recommended updating drivers in IDEA ATA/ATAPI Controllers but nothing has worked. No other proposed solution has worked until now, so I'm at a loss of what options I have to fix this. Thanks!

    Hello,

    I've received a few dozen watchdog violation blue screens which looks to generally be caused by a driver issue.

    Many have recommended updating drivers in IDEA ATA/ATAPI Controllers but in my device manager I don't even have these present.

    No other proposed solution has worked until now, so I'm at a loss of what options I have to fix this.

    I decided to delete blender to better test on Feb 7th when you suggested

    Received another blue-screen today with the same error code of watchdog violation

    I've attached the minidump file for investigation

    I have an HP desktop that upgraded to windows 10. I continue to have the DPC Watchdog Violation blue screen. Any suggestions?
