Windows 10: No Images in emails - Outlook 2010

Installed anniversary update, but certain apps wouldn't work.
Restored to the previous version, but now Outlook 2010 doesn't show images in emails.
Have tried all the suggested fixes, but no joy. (Trust centre and registry)
I use Firefox latest version.

Will Microsoft Outlook 2010 run under Windows 10

I understand that Outlook 2010 will work with Windows 10 but when I upgrade will I see my existing emails or does Outlook 2010 start with a clean slate?

 

Windows Phone 8 wireless /wireless syncing and the "Follow-up" feature in Outlook 2010 dsktop software, does it work?

Thanks this is so far very helpful. I have a few other follow-up questions. Is hotmail an IMAP email system? What is Exchange? Currently my IMAP email addresses (Google and Yahoo) and my POP email (Time Warner Roadrunner) used with my IPhone5 and iCloud
disables the "Follow-up" feature on my Outlook 2010 desktop software program. Very frustrating as I rely on my desktop Outlook 2010 software program to organize my life in setting up "Follow-up" email and contact reminders with a specific date and time as
a reminder, and the emails can be organized in the "For Follow Up" folder on my desktop Outlook 2010 software program. Are you saying that if I get a Windows Phone 8 and have a Hotmail or Exchange email then the desktop Outlook 2010 software program will work
as it should and the "Follow-Up" feature on the desktop Outlook 2010 software program will actually work?

 

There is a security option in the Trust Centre Settings not to display images - is it turned off? I don't display images in emails for added security.
