Windows 10: No input field on Windows 11 Lock Screen window

HIMy OS is Windows 11.Yesterday when I woke up my laptop I can't access my laptop. The Lock Screen only has a profile photo and the words "sign in".But there is no field to enter any password. This user is admin.I also have another user that has a field to enter a password, but does not have admin rights.I've tried Safe Mode, updated Windows to the latest version, tried everything on the internet, but to no avail. When I click "Sign in" nothing happens. I have a lot of files in this account. Please help!

No place to sign into Windows 10: No log-in lock screen PIN input field showing; locked out

I made some changes so I could update Windows 10 to the latest release (it wasn't downloading and installing) and now the field to input my four-digit PIN on the initial lock screen doesn't show. I have only four icons showing on the log-in lock screen -
no field to enter a PIN. So I'm locked out. Any ideas on how to correct this much appreciated.

I tried booting with the shift key held down - it comes up to the same lock screen without the field to enter my PIN, so still locked out. I also tried booting with the enter key held down and do have the ability to get into set-up, the command line, etc,
but I'm not sure what steps to take to correct the issue that I created.

I'm running Windows 10 (Windows Insider fast release) on a Lenovo Thinkpad X1, 64 bit, in Canada, and don't run any anti-virus other than Windows Defender.

I created this problem by doing a 'clean boot'

 

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

 

Lock screen password field gets locked

After coming of screen saver or sleep, my lock screen password field gets locked and I can't enter a password. For 20 sec to 1 min, sometimes, I'm locked out of being able to enter a password; but eventually input field is enabled and I can enter a password.

This seems to have started pretty immediately after upgrading Windows 10.

Does anybody know why this happens or how I can resolve it?
