    I have a company laptop and just upgraded to Windows 10 version 2004 and now have "No Internet Access." I have found several resolutions but each requires admin permissions. Modify registry, modify hosts. file, revert to prior version each requires admin permissions. I should mention that an Ethernet wire plugged directly to the router also does not allow a connection to the outside world.


    How would a NON-ADMIN get the laptop connected to the internet when I am not even in the same STATE USA as my support staff?

    Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

    A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    0x80070035 - Unable to access network devices / folders after upgrading to Windows 10 (2004 Version)

    Hi,

    After upgrading windows 7 to windows 10(2004 version), I am unable to connect to any network drive/devices.

    Cannot join the computer to the domain

    Cannot access the shared folder

    Tried all the troubleshooting steps but no luck.

    I think there's a bug in windows 10 2004 version update.

    Error details are as follows:

    Error Code: 0x80070035 - The network path was not found.

    I did the manual windows update too, but no luck
