  1. No internet after KB5039212 update

Installed the KB5039212 update today and since then my wifi internet shows Secured, No Internet. I have tried restarting the machine and the network adapter. I have forgotten the wifi network and then reconnected. I have updated the drivers on my wifi. I have rebooted my router. All no dice.Other devices on the same wifi network work fine, and have internet, so it's not my service or my wifi. And I can access internet on this Win11 machine by connecting to my phone's hotspot. So I know my wifi card is physically working fine.I have seen a couple of other threads like this No internet af

  3. KB5039212 update problems since installed making laptop impossible to use

    Hello,

I've been having serious issues with my DELL Precision 5570. The performance has been dreadful, and I'm getting frequent BSODs (more than 10 times a day), making my device practically unusable. The stop code I'm seeing is UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

    1. Ran sfc /scannow: This found some corrupted files that it couldn't repair.
    2. Ran the DISM commands:
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Despite these efforts, nothing seemed to fix the corrupted files.

Upon further investigation, I noticed a recent Windows update (KB5039212) had been installed. I decided to uninstall this update, and after a few system restarts and running DISM and SFC again, the corrupted files were finally repaired, and my device seemed stable.

Unfortunately, since my updates are controlled by an administrator, the problematic update (KB5039212) keeps reinstalling itself. This results in my device's performance degrading again and the return of corrupted, unrepairable files after running sfc.

Here's the link to the update for more details: KB5039212 Update Information

Does anyone know what might be in this update that's causing these issues? Any advice on how to prevent this update from reinstalling or how to address the root cause would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
