Windows 10: No internet after reinstalling

I recently reinstalled windows since i got a new boot drive, but the first thing i noticed was that i wasn’t getting internet. it shows im connected ethernet but no internet access. same for my wifi card which makes me believe it’s a windows issue since my phone is fine. the first thing i did was run all netsh commands that could possibly fix it to no avail. ran all ipconfig commands, still nothing. changed my bios settings to see if that would change anything and nope it did not. i manually entered the ip addresses etc for both ipv4 and 6 and it didn’t change anything either. i also looke

Reinstallation of Internet explorer in Windows 10

I would like to inform that the Internet Explorer might be disabled from Windows Features. I suggest you to enable Internet Explorer by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• In the left pane, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
• From the list locate and check the box for Internet Explorer 11.
• Click on OK.
• Restart the system and check.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
