Windows 10: No internet, but Internet is working.

I have had this continuous problem with the internet.

I turn on my computer and it says that I am not connected to the Internet, but I can surf the web and download without problems.

When I use PowerPoint or other Microsoft products like my paid Onedrive, I can't access it or it tells me I don't have a connection.

Everything else works on my computer except Microsoft.

We tried a system update and it came back to the same problem.

Internet?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was really hoping the power reset would work but alas, it did not. As for the other suggestions, my motherboard is not really very compatible with vista but it does come vista ready, and with drivers for vista. Also, the internet did work with vista just fine but just not at the beginning. Also, I am using xp now with the same problem. As for the finnicky wire, that is my top suspect at the moment but it doesn't explain some things. Like why the internet works fine before a reformat and then not after even though I have not even so much as touched the cable. Or why after the internet decides to magically start working again, it never goes away, until I reformat again. You would think with a finnicky wire you would have finnicky service but that is not the case. Plus it just starts working with absolutely changes made by me.
