Windows 10: No internet connection / Can't login in my Windows PC

I have a windows pc that hasn't been working for a while now. When trying to login it doesn't work even though I know it's the right password, also when I do that it tells me that there is no internet connection. I've tried pressing the "forgot my password" button but it does not work. I also have this red X at the bottom of my screen and when I press it I don't see any internet networks I can connect to. I'm also missing my power button at the bottom of my screen aswell. I've tried going into safe mode to try and see if I could get in but that didn't work. I've watch so many tutorials on how

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key + X Key, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Login problem with no internet connection.

For the new password to sync in your device the internet connection should work. As we see that you are using wireless connection, we suggest you to use Ethernet (Wired) Internet connection and then try to login. This is the best possible attempt
we can do to see if you are able to login to your system. Once you are logged in we can proceed further with the network troubleshooting steps on your system.

Unable to login to the PC after updating to Windows 10 1903 update

I understand that you are facing issues while logging in to the PC after installing the latest Windows update. I appreciate your time and effort in trying to resolve the issue by performing certain steps to login.



To understand the issue better, please respond to the questions below:

1. Is the PC connected to university network/domain network?
   
2. Is the computer connected to the internet while you are trying to login to your computer?
   

If you are not connected to internet, please connect an Ethernet cable to the PC and then try logging.



However, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Try booting the PC in to safe mode and check if you are able to login. Refer the article

If the issue persists, please try the next method.



Method 2:



Since you are unable to login, I would suggest you to try rolling back the update and check. Refer the section

In addition, you can also try resetting the password for the university account and check if you are able to login. In order to reset the password please get in touch with the university.
