Windows 10: No Internet Connection - Hotspot from Android Devices

Hi All,


So recently i experiencing that my Wi-Fi has no internet access from Hotspot Android Device. Other Devices Phone/Laptop that connected to my Android Hotspot has no problem with network at all.



Then these actions are what i did if that happened;


1. Sometimes in my android device i need to change AP Band either from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz or otherwise in order to connect to the network. This has always happened if my notebook LENOVO Yoga 530 switches on from sleep mode.



2. Sometimes when option 1 didn't work, i uninstall Network Driver and restart, then some cases it worked.



3. If Option 1 & 2 didn't work, i tried to change my hotspot name. but didn't work oftentimes.



4. When those 3 options didn't work, i frustrated : so i decided to reconnect by using USB Tethering. yes ofc this works so well.



Has anybody here have this kind of issue like me?

Internet is not connected in Mobile Hotspot

We can try the following ways to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Create a mobile hotspot and share it, how to create a mobile hotspot and share it, we can refer this article: How to turn your Windows 10 PC into a wireless hotspot
   
2. Is there some settings like "Allow all Users" when creating hotspot, if so we can try to enable it, then all devices are able to pick up hotspot connection.
   
3. All the devices or only one android device cannot connect the network name of this hotspot? If all the devices can not connect to this hotspot, it may be a problem with creating or sharing hotspots, if only one android device can not connect this hotspot, it may be the settings problem with this android device.
   
4. Is there a device that can find the network name of this hotspot?
   
5. If a device discovers this hotspot, when we want to connect to this hotspot, is there a prompt to verify the network name and password?
   
6. If the android device can connect other wifi or other hotspots, it may be settings problem with this android device.
   
7. We can try to add a hotspot network manually in the android devices, then we view if it can connect the mobile hotspot.
   

 

Android hotspot, cannot connect to this network

1st post from complete novice.
I updated my Lenovo Yoga 730 to latest win10 1909 I think and now can't connect to my Android phone hotspot. I tried to connect to my wife's Android hotspot as well without luck.
All the solutions for "Cannot connect to this network" you on the Web require the removal of the network adapters to then a reboot to force a reinstall. My concern is they are not specific about what adaptor nor will it allow a new download.
Please help.

Just to clarify. I use the hotspot on my Android phone to access the internet. I do not have any other internet access. I this was working OK and now it does not. It coincides with the latest win10 update but may not be due to it. in

Previously did your laptop work through the Android hotspot or did it never work?

Try setting up USB Tethering on your Android device, then connect your PC via USB cable to the Android device and check if in this mode you can access the internet.
