  1. No internet for 15 minutes after booting up, and DNS Client uses 30% CPU

Hello everyone, I'm having a very unusual bug on Windows 11When I turn on my computer, it doesn't connect to the internet, the icon on the taskbar looks like it's connected, but no webpage or program has connection. On the meanwhile, Service Host: Network Service - DNS Client, is using around 30% of my CPU, this lasts for 15 minutes, until everything goes back to normal and I can finally browse the internetI tried changing DNS settings, restarting DNS using the commands ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /registerdns, but nothing seems to work. The only way I could get around this, is disabling the

CS-15 and Nokia Internet Modem takes 15-30 minutes to request PIN

Further information - the problem has nothing to do with the CS-15 device, it is purely due to the Nokia Internet Modem software. If the CS-15 is not connected, the wellphone2.exe process still takes 50% CPU for 30 minutes, and the system tray icon shows
no menu when right clicked. After 30 minutes right-clicking the system tray icon produces the menu, or double clicking the desktop shortcut brings up the Nokia Internet Modem program. So the Internet Modem program is getting stuck in some kind of timeout or
    loop for half an hour.

It would be nice to know when DNA and Nokia produce a fix for this.

  3. dns probe finished no internet

    Hi Oxide,

After some trial-and-error testing of all suggested fixes, which I found over the internet, here’re what worked for me to solve "DNS Probe Finished No Internet" issue and might work for you as well.

Method 1: Change Default DNS Address to Open DNS

Here all you have to do is change your default automatically obtained DNS server addresses to open DNS or Google DNS. To do this, follow below mentioned steps:

    Step 1:
Right click on Network icon located in Windows Task Bar Menu.

    Step 2:
Click on ‘Open Network and Sharing Center.’

    Step 3:
Click on Local Area Connection with whom who are presently connected and click onProperties.

    Step 4:
Select ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)’ and click on Properties.

    Step 5:
Now in newly opened windows, select the radio button that reads ‘Use the following DNS server address:’

    Step 6:
Now in the ‘Preferred DNS Server’ box type in 208.67.222.222 and in ‘Alternate DNS Server’ type in 208.67.220.220.

    Step 7:
Now check the box that says ‘Validate settings upon exit’ and then click on OK. That’s it.

    Change DNS on client

    Hello,
we have a customer with over 2000 Windows 7 clients, domain controllers are Windows 2008, all clients are with IP and DNS settings configured manually, now they need to change DNS settings on that clients, please can you suggest us a few ways to do this
avoiding manual intervention on all clients?
    Thanks
    Regards
