Windows 10: No keyboard or mouse functionality on Windows 7 first use

Disclaimer: Yes, i know Windows 7 is EoLHello. I recently installed Windows 7 on my computer dual booting with Windows 11. It has been a hassle from the beginning. Firstly, I am using a Samsung 980 NVMe drive, so I had to dig deep to find the hotfix that Microsoft released to add support for NVMe, but pulled from their website. After i managed to get it installed, I hit a roadblock where I cannot proceed with first time setup because the keyboard and mouse are not recognized at all. It works fine in the BIOS and in Windows 11, but as soon as it says "Starting Windows" while booting up 7, my

Trying to reinstall Windows 7 Home premium from Windows 8 Pro

Hi, I have just installed Windows 8 pro and I don't like it. I tried it for a day but I think it has too many unnecessary functions, which drives me crazy. I tried to re-boot with Windows 7 disc in it, but I am unable to select anything using keyboard and mouse on windows 7 installation step (where i choose language and input). Please help.
