Windows 10: No longer able to view desktop...ONLY full start screen. HELP!

My computer has a mind of its own apparently. I can no longer view my regular desktop. All I get is the full start screen with all the stupid tiles on it. I have tried changing my settings, restarting, shutting down and rebooting, nothing is working. When I click the windows logo all I get is that same full start screen. Am I missing something?

All I want is for it to show me my regular, normal desktop. Not these stupid tiles!

NO Desktop

My computer asked to update and I told it to go ahead and restart to install the update. Now my laptop with windows ten only has the start full screen. I checked that the start full screen was off and it is indeed off. I want my desktop view back, please
help.

I want my start menu back where it looked like a regular desktop not the start screen.

I recently tried to personalize my windows 10 by turning on the "Start full screen" option.

I have since turned it off but I can no longer get the classic desktop.

Even pressing the windows key and D does not do it.

How do I get back to the classic desktop view?

 

Turn off Tablet Mode.
Settings►System►Tablet Mode►Off
or
Action Center►Toggle Tablet Mode
