Windows 10: No longer access to admin account

I am the sole user of this pc but can no longer get full access to the Powershell or upgrade my current admin status to change user options.

Also File Explorer does not function correctly eg It will not let me rename any directory and instead just closes itself.

We understand your concern as you are looking for an option to access the Microsoft admin account but you don’t have access to the associate Microsoft email account
that the admin was set up with.



When you say "I no longer have access to the email account that the admin was set up with" are you not able to login to Windows PC and does the PC has any other admin user account.



However, this is to inform you that due to security policy, if you don’t have access to the email account that you used to setup the Microsoft admin user account, then unfortunately you won’t be able to access the user account unless
you remember the password/pin you have setup.



If you don’t remember the password of the email account, then you can reset the password on
Reset your password



If you still have issues in recovering the account, then we would suggest you to fill the
ACSR form for recovering the account

No longer have access to admin email account

I would like to know if I can get into my Microsoft Admin Account if I no longer have access to the email account that the admin was set up with. Any help would be grateful.

 

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
