    No longer can brighten my screen due to new update


    Last night the latest - and longest - Win 10 update occurred and now I cannot brighten my now MUCH darker screen. I googled this and have tried everything, including updating drivers, etc. HELP! I have a Lenovo Ideapad. Thanks for any advice.

    brighten screen

    I am trying to brighten my screen but for some reason when I go to the display screen it doesn't give me the option to brighten my screen only to turn the nightlight on or off but even when I click on it nothing changes.

    hot keys to lower or brighten the screen

    a while back i updated to windows 10, ever since that happened i was no longer able to use the hot keys/ functions on my samsung laptop to brighten the screen or make it less bright. in my computer i would have to use the key Fn and then use the up arrow
    to brighten the screen or if i wanted to make it less bright i would have to use the Fn key and the use the down arrow. is there a way i can fix it and have the access to those functions again?

    No longer can brighten my screen due to new update

    After upgrade to Windows 10, screen keeps dimming, then brightening!

    I have updated the Display adapters as per another answer, but the dim/brighten/dim/brighten issues seems to be persisting. Can anyone suggest another remedy please. My laptop is an HP Pavilion.
