No Longer Cannot Access Other User Accounts on PC

I have a Westinghouse TV which I use as my PC, with Windows 10 Pro, version 20H2 installed on it. Whenever I clicked on the windows logo, then on the account picture, I would see other user accounts I could log onto. Now, whenever I click on the account user logo, I only see Change Account Settings, Lock, and Sign off. I prefer to have multiple user accounts available because every day I lose more space I can use for my files. Having a separate user account for work or school could help immensely to ease the burden on my disk space.

    :)

Can't access my home user account on Windows 10.

File Explorer may have encountered an issue due system conflict. To correct this, follow the steps below:

    • On the Search bar, type in quick access and press Enter.
    • Select File Explorer Options.
    • On the General tab, make sure to set Open File Explorer to
      This PC.
    • Under Privacy, remove the check mark on Show recently used files in Quick access
and Show frequently used folders in Quick access.
    • Click Apply and OK.
We also suggest that you follow these steps on how to Enable Built-in Administrator
to access your files and perform the troubleshooting steps given by
    Pavan_N
and BulldogXX. Follow the steps below to Enable Built-in Administrator:

The built-in elevated "Administrator account" is a local account that has full unrestricted access rights to the PC.

    • Right click on the Windows icon, select Command Prompt.
    • A Command Prompt window will open.
    • Type in or copy and paste this command:
      • net user administrator /active:yes
    • Press Enter. Close the Command Prompt.
    • Sign out with your current account and try to sign in using Administrator.

Let us know if these troubleshooting steps worked.

Windows hello removal from an account I no longer have access to.

Just a quick recap, you've set up Windows Hello on a user account on your
PC that is associated with a business account you no longer have access to. Is that right? If that is the case, you could simply
remove the user account on your PC. You will need an administrator account in order to remove a user account. To remove a user account on your PC, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings>Accounts>Family & other users.
    • Select the user account that you want to remove.
    • Click Remove.
    • You'll be prompted again, click Delete account and data.

(Note: Removing a user account deletes all the data the is saved in it)

Upon removing that account on your PC, you can now set up Windows Hello.

Do get back to us if you need further assistance.
