Windows 10: No low battery warnings

I don't recall when this problem started exactly, but perhaps about a month ago, after an update. I'm using Windows 10


My laptop used to give me warnings pop up and sound when my battery level was down to 20 and 10 percent. It recently stopped doing that and only shows a little green dot next to the battery icon at 10% and when I don't notice that, it just dies. The low battery warnings in the Power Options dialogue box were on, I turned them off and on again, but this had exactly zero effect. What else could I try?

I am facing an issue since I have updated windows 10 64-bit to v1607. The issue is regarding the low battery warning. In the earlier version of windows, I was not facing this problem, but after upgrading to v1607, sometimes the low battery warning doesn't
flash on the screen and as a result my laptop goes to sleep state. The low battery warning is sometimes displayed, but mostly its not.

Please suggest any solution.
