Windows 10: No method I have tried will stop this absolutely annoying and UNWANTED "permission"...

I cannot reliably copy files from 1 windows 11 PC to another thanks to this BS "permission" restriction . I have several windows 11 PC's that I use in different areas to make changes to CAD files . I want the updated copy to exist regardless of which PC I'm using .I understand Icant have this unless I go with cloud storage . Cloud storage is Bull**it . Its not private and its not SECURE . Every day you read about "data breaches" where private info has been hacked . All these companies like microsoft and google care about is MONEY .They point fingers at each other and fail to accept responsibil

Firefox crashes non-stop!!!

Suggest any methods to stop Firefox from crashing. It crashes right after starting, no more than a second or 3..

Any cache, plugins, antivirus things that might cause it? It is very, very annoying...

 

Anyway to stop the annoying startup message?

Yes! That one. I have tried everything and nothing stops it. I will try your suggestion next time it appears.

 

No permissions

Hi,

I would suggest you to right click on the user's folder for your profile and check if the permissions shows as "read only'. If this is the case, it might be causing the issue. In this case, I would suggest you to go to C:\User folder, right click on the
folder with your username and follow these steps:

• Open the properties of the main user profile folder where the files are located (such as Documents, Pictures, etc).
  
• Go to the Security tab and click Advanced.
• Check the box at the bottom of this window. It is labeled "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" and then click Ok.
  

This does a one-time action that replaces the security on all the files/subfolders. It’s one-time, so you won’t find that box checked if you peek at it later. Try these steps and let us know the results for further assistance.
