Windows 10: no more finger print sign in and touch screen capability is gone.

no more finger print sign in and touch screen capability is gone.

all this happened just out of the blue. did a clean installation and nothing. I will be honest, really I feel really frustrated on how invasive Microsoft is and how any of their computers are set to do what Microsoft wants and not what the users wants it to do.

I am considering very seriously Linux and I am already with mac os. So far with windows 10 I feel with a gun on my forehead. Things don't work with the user in mind.

what are file names for finger print sign-in

I ran a system mechanic clean scan and now my finger print sign-in won't work. System Mechanic gives me a list of files that were deleted, but I can't tell if any of them are related to the finger print sign-in files. Does anyone know the names of these
files or associated files?

 

Windows 10 Finger Print Sign-in Problems

I've done that. I've removed them and reloaded them several times. The finger print scanner is working and Windows 10 appears to be allowing me to register finger prints. However, the Hello Windows sign in screen will not respond when I try to use
the finger print scanner. The password and PIN sign in options are available, but finger prints are not available on the Hello Windows screen.
