No mouse scrolling on external monitor - X1 Carbon

    Hi,

I am running Windows 10 on my Lenovo X1 Carbon and I am having an issue with scrolling on an external monitor.

The monitor connects and I can point and click on the screen using a USB mouse; however, when I use use the scroll wheel on the mouse nothing will scroll. If I use the track pad, I can scroll on the external monitor like normal.

I have tried two different monitors and several different USB mouse, and no change has been seen.

I do not know if this is a Windows 10 issue or if it is an issue with X1's in general.

Could anyone assist me if troubleshoothing this issue?

    Thank you

    :)

  2. Windows 10 won't detect external monitor

I just updated my laptop Carbon X1 to Windows 10 (4/26/16). Everything seems to be working except Windows will not detect my external HP2301 monitor when the laptop is connected by the USB cable to the Lenovo Onelink dock. I have updated the Intel graphics
driver and all other drivers to no avail. I updated Windows 10 after install to be sure no drivers were deleted. It does not seem to be a graphics card issue because the laptop monitor works fine. Also the external mouse works when the lap top is docked
(and the mouse is connected through the same Onelink USB connection, so not a cable issue. The external monitor worked fine when I was running Windows 7, but now is not even detected. Can anyone help?? If I cannot make this work, I will revert to Windows
    7.... Thanks.

No mouse scrolling on external monitor - X1 Carbon

I should have mentioned that I am using build 9841.

After a little more messing around, it seems as though it will sometimes scroll on the external monitor, but only when a page is loading on say chrome. I opened IE and it will scroll all the time. I tried MS Word and Excel and they will only scroll periodically.

    Thanks
