Windows 10: No mouse will connect to PC (help?)

Randomly my mouse has just started to refuse to work with my pc. Both wired and wireless mouses refuse to connect and usually come up with as 'unknowm device' in the device manager with an escalation mark next to it. Sometimes the name will load in but the exclamation mark is still there.

I deleted drivers and searched for new ones but nothing works. I have tried everything in the book but literally none of it works.

It keeps saying that Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device and driver installation is missing a necessary entry blah blah blah

Any help?

Why isn't my m325 wireless mouse connected to pc?

Hello. My Logitech m325 wireless mouse doesn't connect to the pc. I have downloaded the unifying software to connect it. The software detects the Logitech usb. However, when I get to the step where I restart the mouse to connect, it doesn't connect and doesn't detect it. I have restarted the pc and I have restarted the mouse correctly. The mouse battery is okay as well. Please help.
