No network after Windows 10 build 10586 update

I updated my Windows 10 pro to 10586 build (not insider) using windows update.

And now my network connection is gone. LAN cable is connected router is fine other PCs connect just fine i even tried changing LAN cables and ports on router. I see exclamation mark in task bar on network connection icon and it says no internet connection, local network is inaccessible too. there is no problems in device manager, it says network adapters working fine, automatic repair wizard can not find any problems.
I have two network adapters one Ethernet gigabit adapter and one for hyper-v switch, can there be problem with hyper-v.

is there any solutions i can try?

there is no 3rd party antivirus or firewall installed.

    :)

Windows 10 Build 10586 - 'Network' in Navigation Pane of Windows Explorer & Apple Boot Camp

When selecting the 'Network' key in the Navigation pane of Windows 10 Explorer it does not display any of my local network devices after upgrading from Build 10240 to Build 10586. I have 5 PCs and 3 Servers, all do not appear under the Computer title in
the Network window. Under the 'Storage' title the Servers devices do appear but only 2 not the 3 servers in my case. All PCs are common and were upgraded to Windows 10 x64 Build 10586. Mapping each of the network device is possible. Using a 3rd party program
like 'Advanced IP Scanner' will identify all devices properly.

In an attempt to find a solution, some PCs were upgraded by installing Build 10586 over Build 10240. Once the problem was identified, two of the PCs had a 'clean' Build 10586 installation with no applications added.

I did note when my Apple MacBook had Windows 10 B10586 installed (with the Apple OS wipe clean off the hard drive) the 'Network' selection worked properly because the Boot Camp likely installed its own Apple network device. But the cost after installing
Boot Camp onto the Windows 10 Build 10240 and/or Build 10586 the "Volume Shadow Copy" feature disappear and prevented the Restore Point feature from completing a backup; this extended to preventing the 3rd party program ACRONIS Imaging from working as well.

    Can these faluts be corrected?

  5. Pretty much same problem here. Surface Pro 3 with Win10 Pro with Hyper-V enabled. I also had Citrix NetScaler Gateway Plugin installed (VPN software) so not sure if that is related. Right after upgrade, ipconfig/all showed all my interfaces as media disconnected. I have since removed Hyper-V, removed the VPN software and deleted all the network connections. Network adapters in Device Manager (Surface Ethernet Adapter via dock, and Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller) look fine. Normally I would expect the Network Connections to automatically re-create when I uninstall/scan the network devices but it's not working.

    Still digging...

there was no driver problems all network devices was fine in device manager drivers was working no exclamation marks etc.

I will try to reinstall driver anyway.

I dint had any VPN software installed, almost no 3rd party software expect classic shell. Used mostly as headless network hyper-v server and storage server. now i cant use network *Sad if you find anything please report here.

  7. Update lan wan drivers first then, Reset router and change your log in credentials and password since this is a good time to do it.

  10. Ah, okay - I misread your original post.

I've solved my problem with: netcfg -d

Code: C:\WINDOWS\system32>netcfg -d SetupDiCallClassInstaller Erorr: 0x6 SetupDiCallClassInstaller Erorr: 0x6 SetupDiCallClassInstaller Erorr: 0x6 Unable to stop the vmms service: 0x27b2f8e0NetSetup object deleted successfully on MUX Successfully commited changes to the registry Successfully commited changes to the registry We are going to reboot now to complete the clean up. Save all of your work.[/quote] It mentions vmms service which is related to Hyper-V, but I don't know if that error above is a cause or a symptom.

Don't know if this would solve your issue - only run it if you are willing to re-configure your networking from scratch and I also don't know what it will do to your Hyper-V switch.

In your case, I'd suggest seeing if you can ping your PC from another one on your network.

This thread seems to describe your issue - there is a solution link at the end: Solved System indicates no internet connection on restart but am connected - Windows 10 Forums

    Good luck.

  12. Not sure how many things you've tried (disable firewall, delete adapter/uninstall NIC, look at ipconfig/all, look at route print) but all else failing I'd run netcfg -d if there are no apparent problems.

No network after Windows 10 build 10586 update

Did you shut everything down, including the Router/Gateway and then plug back in the Gateway to flush its cache?

Try resetting the IP stack. netsh int ip reset Also Winsock reset. netsh winsock reset

There is of course the great tools that majorgeeks.com always has for these kind of cases. If all else fails or just want to be done with it. Use Rizeonsoft's Complete Internet Repair. Download Complete Internet Repair - MajorGeeks

  15. Probably running into the same issue others experienced when upgrading from 8.1 pro to Windows 10 when hyper-v was enabled in 8.1 pro, except you upgraded from 10 to 10 Nov Update when hyper-v was enabled on 10. Try this fix in this link

No Internet Access After Upgrading to Windows 10

Use method 2 and use your Ethernet connection where the link refers to the WiFi connection.
