Windows 10: No networks are showing up except hidden network

I can't see any networks on my pc other than one called "hidden network", I've tried uninstalling the driver, troubleshooting and some other things but sill it only shows that one. Sometimes it doesn't even show any networks saying "no wifi networks found".Using a tplink wireless usb adapter AC600

When you look at the list of available networks, the "Hidden Network" is not a particular WiFi network but instead a generic indicator to show you that there are networks in range that have hidden their SSID, or network name.

This is normal behaviour, and presents no issue for you. You can ignore the hidden networks.

Wifi Network Not Showing Up, Hidden Network in it's place?

My home wifi network does not show up anymore on one of several devices in my home. I can see my neighbors' networks (both 5 and 2.4 connections) and can even see and connect to my phone hotspot, but my wifi is no longer listed, even though it shows up as normal on all other devices. Now there is a "hidden network" shown that I'm pretty sure is suppose to be my wifi since it has a strong signal and my other devices don't have a hidden network on their list of available networks, but although I enter my wifi name and password as requested, it will not accept it and connect to internet. That particular computer is running Windows 10 and is the only device in my home running it.

I have already reset the network settings, updated drivers, double checked my router settings to see that I didn't accidentally set it as hidden, and I even bought a new network adapter and though more wifi networks show up, my home wifi remains a hidden network. Any idea where to go from here?

where are you seeing this hidden network? is it in the list of available wireless networks?

the list of available wireless networks will show all networks within range, a hidden network is one that the network owner has decided not to broadcast the network name (SSID).

This is not on your computer or affecting it in any way, it just happens to be in range.
