No new device drivers found error when installing Windows 11 on a Samsung 980 M.2 NVME SSD.

I recently installed a new Samsung 980 NVME SSD after my old one stopped working. After installing it I'm now trying to install windows on it. But the windows installation wasn't detecting the drive because it apparently had no drivers. So I download the Intel RST VMD drivers but when I try to load them I get an error that says "No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, then click OK" becuase I got this error "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB or Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD or USB flash dr

Nvme enclosure "No Drivers are Installed for this device"

Hi, it is a Samsung 980 Pro M.2 nvme in a USB m.2 nvme enclosure.

I have updated all motherboard and USB drivers, no change. Please advise possible next steps...

    USB thumb drives work fine.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

NVMe M.2 SSD not showing in Windows 11 Storage Spaces

I just "rebuilt", upgraded, my computer. I also upgraded to Windows 11. Everything went well. I used a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 4.0 for the main drive and installed qty. 3 Crucial P3 1TB PCIe Gen3 on the remaining three available slots for storage.

I can see the three Crucial drives in BIOS, Disk Manager, windows folder, etc. I can access them in Windows, they operate as normal drives. When I go to Storage Spaces and try to create one, no drives show up. Not any of the NVMe M.2 drives or even a separate Samsung 980 1TB ssd connected to a SATA port.

What do I need to change for the drive to appear?

    Hardware:

    Gigabyte Gaming X Z690

    Intel i5 13th Gen

    G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 1.35V Dual Channel

    MSI 2060 Graphics Card

    Regards, Tom
