Windows 10: No Notification Sounds when USB Headset Plugged In

I am using a Voyager 4320 wireless headset on Windows 11. When it is plugged in, I do not hear desktop notification sounds new Outlook email, new Teams message, meeting reminders, etc.. When I unplug the headset's USB dongle, I hear the notification sounds again immediately. All other audio works through the headset calls, audio playback from browser, etc. I cannot seem to workout what the issue is. Has anyone run into this?

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Headset plugged in, but no sound

Recently when I was trying to fix some problems with my microphone, my sound stopped working all of a sudden. I have restarted my pc numerous amount of times and have used multiple headsets, but they all don't work. When I plug a headset in, I do get the
notification saying: 'You just plugged a device into the audio jack.' but still it simply doesn't work. My speakers do work on the other hand. How do I fix this issue, cause I need my sound back on my pc.
