  3. Problem moving libraries from dedault location to externcal drive

Using explorer/properties/location to move default library Document Picture and Music directories to an external drive, the files are copied not moved so I end up with a copy in both the old and new locatons. I used explorer/properties/location to move
the files and the program indicates that the files will be "moved" to selected location, but the files are actually copied. Also the old and new directories seem to be linked, if I save a file to one location it shows in both locations. When opening some
programs I get a message that the expected file location (original location) cannot be found and that the reference must be changed.

Just open File Explorer, select show hidden items in the "View" tab , and go to these folders:

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

I already checked the Start Menu locations and they're not there.

These tiles are web sites that I pinned to Start in Edge.

I tried pinning this page, then using Ultra Search(which searches the MFT(Master File Table)) to find it, and it couldn't*Sad

No 'Open file locaton' on Some Start Tiles

I have Open file location on the right-click of most Tiles, click More to get it.

I can't read what the image says even at a very large view, too blurred.

Web page URLs are not the same as installed program's executable files or shortcuts to them. I only have to double-click the URLs I save to get the Browser to open to that location. From what I can make out of the posted image, I have to say that I haven't used that new feature of Creator's Update [actually an Upgrade over the previous version]. Looks like it would be handy to put everything back into the Tiles somewhat like Win8.0.

For a work around, you could create a bookmark(favorite) in IE11, go to C:\Users\UserName\Favorites\Links, and then copy the shortcut that is created,

place it in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, and give it the name you want.

It will then show up in the All Apps column, then right click that and pin it to start. It will open up using your default browser.
