Windows 10: No option in gpedit for disable copilot win 10 pro

Windows 10 pro Office 365 rolled back version 365 to 17726.20160. copilot Still in word 365 with no option to disable. Went to group policy editor, found No option to disable this faulty, useless, work hindering pos program. I hate you microsoft!!!!!!!!!!Cannot use word this way, copilot completely replaced all my text with text from unopen file. You are Hurting many many people with forcing copilot. Id prefer rape to this.

Copilot randomly got removed from taskbar options.

I can understand how frustrating it is when an essential feature like copilot disappears unexpectedly.

Here are few steps to fix this issue.

1. Open Settings.
   
   Click on Personalization.
   
   In Taskbar, check if the Copilot toggle is off. If so, turn it on.
   
2. If Group Policy Editor isn’t working, try these steps:
   
   • Press Win + R, and enter gpedit.msc.
     
   • Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
     
   • Look for any policies related to Copilot and ensure they’re not disabled.

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

how do i disable copilot completely in windows 10

I have Windows 10 installed because Windows 11 is absolute BS and was not intended to be user-friendly. All of the features that I enjoy, like the Start Menu with Tiles and Categories, are missing because Microsoft obviously doesn't care what users want.

That said, Visual Studio is not installed on my PC. I had to search for it and the only option I had was to download it so I can safely say that Copilot obviously "works", or assaults as someone else said, without the benefit of Visual Studio. So...not sure how the above steps can do a thing to take care of an invasive and irritating feature. BTW, I have Copilot toggled off and it still pops up most of the time. I hate it and I want it gone. What other suggestions might you have?
