Windows 10: No option to switch my microsoft account on windows 11 to local account. There is also not...

So I go to accounts -> Your info, and I see no option to switch my account to a local account. I also go to accounts -> Email & accounts, and there is no option to remove the microsoft account. How do I get rid of my microsoft account on my pc?

Yea, I would create a local account and just use your school account to login to Outlook and Onedrive.

I was thinking of doing that, but it will be a PITA setting everything up on the 2nd account again. I might go that way and just spend the time getting the account in order.

The problem is, I would need to switch at the start of every day. Extra reset and waiting for the settings to be applied etc. Also, I'm not sure whether one drive would be maintained after switching back to a local account. I wouldn't want to have to re-sync every time I logged in. I may have to do some testing to see if onedrive is maintained after switching back to a local account.

When I later booted it was then in local account. Perhaps the switch happened at reboot? Don't know but all seem to now be local accounts. I don't have any desire to use MS Account to access anything where I can avoid it. Thanks...this seems SOLVED although I have no clue how...
