Windows 10: NO option to switch users on microsoft account login screen on a locked computer

I'm locked out of my laptop. I used a PIN for login however after I downloaded my phone data/pictures the laptop screen went to sleep and when trying to sign on again it is now asking me for my microsoft account credentials. I entered those correctly and it takes me to a hello PIN set up that errors out which is a whole other problem and brings me back to the microsoft account sign in screen. I tried creating a new microsoft account to see if that would let me in and now the sign is screen is auto populated with the new username and will not let me change it back to the correct account.

Switch user from lock screen

Once you lock the computer, to switch from one user account to another from the lock screen, select the user name from the list of available users at the bottom left of the sign-in screen, enter the credentials to sign-in.

Check Way 3: Lock computer in Screen Saver Settings.
Step 1: Type lock computer in the search box on taskbar and choose Lock the computer when I leave it alone for a period of time.
Step 2: In the Screen Saver Settings dialog, choose On resume, display logon screen and hit OK.
Is “On resume, display log on screen” checked?

I suggest you to follow the below steps to Switch users.

• 
  Press Ctrl + Alt + Del key altogether.
  
• 
  Click on Switch User.
  
• 
  Select the user with which you want to login.
  

If computer starts up with a user other than the one you want, login to that user account and switch user to the account that you need and check.
