Windows 10: No print colour options Windows 11

Hi. I have had numerous problems with my HP Envy 4523 printer since upgrading to windows 11. The problem I have now is there are no options to print in colour. I have checked properties and preferences the options are not there. I have gone into advanced options and the grayscale option is missing as well. I have spent hours & hours searching for a solution here and on HP website. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times. I have updated the drivers via HP. I have tried everything that has been suggested. I can copy a colour image so it is not the printer itself. I need

Colour printing option

I am unable to print in colour and I can no longer find a colour/B&W option in the print options. I use Windows chrome and Windows 10. The printer will only print my docs in B/W but will print colour from my wife's I Pad. The printer spool support advice
on line has been unsuccessful

Thank you for you reply. I have reinstalled the drivers and printer works but again only in black and white. When you press print, the dialogue box does not give a color option in any of the buttons incl advanced or options. There is no prob with the HP
printer (works in colour from wife's i.pad but as I say no colour option on my laptop. Spool files have been cleared but cannot understand why no print preferences button in print dialogue box.

When you goto print a print dialogue box will open where you will be able to choose to print in either colour or black and white. If you press control+p this window will not open so you will need to open the print dialogue window by clicking on the "print"
button sometimes listed in the "file" menu. Also your printer maybe out of colour ink so it might be worth checking the colour ink levels although an error will usually display in windows complaining about a lack of colour ink if trying to print in colour
