Windows 10: No Product Key tab on the windows setup screen

Hi, iv recently build my computer and im trying to install windows 10 from my usb stick to my ssd, once im in the windows setup screen and press install now theres no tab saying enter product key/ license key i need help ASAP thank you.

nb: It may be to do with your zip code and or post code not being entered

In regard to your DVD Rom drive - go to -control panel/device manager/DVD/CD-ROM drives -make a note of the make and model number Example: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215D ATA Device - highlight the device you have installed -press right mouse button-select properties-details-property and select Install Date from the drop down list and let us know this.

Windows 10 ISO asking for product key on update setup

Try the following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Follow the below steps and check.

• Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download"
  folder and delete everything in that folder.
• Go into Setup log: windows.~bt\source\panther\setuperr.log
  folder and delete everything in that folder.
• Try to run Windows update and check if it works.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to reset the Windows Update components. Refer the section
manually reset Windows Update components in the below article to reset the windows update components.

WINDOWS 10 SETUP ERROR PLS I NEED HELP

Thank you for posting your reply.

I would like to inform that the option to skip to enter the product key screen is available only when a Clean Installation is performed.

I suggest you to activate the product key by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select the Region from the list and click Next.
• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.
