I'm really sorry I missed the beginning of this. I have a big log to add to this fire. (actually, I have several logs where Win10 and Microsoft are concerned but not all of them would be appropriate here.

Suffice it to say that this particular issue has become a very large pebble in my sneaker. After the OS's that preceded it I welcomed Win10 with great anticipation and, I will say, at first I was delighted with it. But familiarity has brought contempt. I wonder if many of the other contributors aren't spot on in observing that the updates may be the culprits here. A bug can come in many disguises.

Intentional or not (and I certainly hope not) this issue is surely the result of haste and shortsightedness.

Time for MS to pick up the ball. If I knew how to inspire them I would but I'm out of ideas. Customer contact certainly hasn't worked.

New here and seeking for help: problems with graphic card

Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

    Q6600 questions

you will never know, but i will say i got my 6600 from newegg and it was G0 stepping.

Depending on your setup a 6600 will hit in the mid 3GHz range. Mine runs stable at 3.4Ghz. Yea it will hit 3Ghz without a problem at all, however i would suggest somewhere around 3.2 as a safeguard against gpu bottlenecking.

If you are going to go higher than 2.8Ghz i would suggest an aftermarket cooler. Quads run very hot.

Oh a G0 stepping will say SLARK on it I lapped mine so i can't rememebr the correct spelling.
