Windows 10: No read/write on local machine but Shares work on AVD/RDS

Good dayI have a user that is having issues with her shared drive. This is a mapped drive that gets pushed through GPO. The strange thing is that when she uses the RDS or AVD session her access is there and she can read/write. It's only on her local machine that the problem is there, when trying to write to that mapped drive we get a Permission error. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can't write to shares on a Windows 10 machine from a Windows 7 machine

I still get "You need permission to perform this action" from the Windows 7 machines if I try to write to a Windows 10 share after I made the above changes on the Windows 10 machine.

 

RDS Printer Question

I have a RDS server (server 2008 R2) and I share apps using its remote app functionality.
This works fine and the apps appear to be running locally on the remote clients, even though they are not.
The local printers on the remote client machines work fine from the remote apps (they are auto-redirected through TS ports by easyShare on the RDS).

Here's the question.
I would like to be able to share a printer from the RDS machine and make it available to the local applications that are running on the clients.
Is this possible?

I've been googling this for awhile but no love.

 

Cannot write to local shared directory

I wondered if anyone has experienced this issue...

We noticed a permissions error on a server that uses a case management system. It works by writing to locally hosted shared folders. After a reboot, we get the error - "Destination folder access denied" "You
need permission to proform this action" when trying to write to the directory off \\Server\Share (as any user account). Also, this seems to happen on any machine in our network - I created a share on a workstation and can view \\Workstation\Share - but can't
write to the directory.

If I navigate to \\IPAddress\Share on host and client - can read and write

If I navigate to \\FQDN\Share on host and client - can read and write

If I navigate to \\Server\Share on a client as any user - can read and write

Also, mapping the drive on host and client - can read and write

Hoping someone can shed some light on this if they've had similar issues?

I've checked offline file sync is disabled, no credentials are stored in credential manager, clearing the CSC cache, file permissions (set for everyone, full control), DNS, NETBios.

Also rolled back any Windows updates to a time when this was working.
