Windows 10: No response when checking for Win updates + low Outlook sync

Hello everybody,


since last Monday, the 15th of March 2021, it seems like some Microsoft servers aren't working properly. My Desktop is not able to find any new Win updates, in fact the search never gets completed, failing to provide a result, and the sync to my Outlook is very slow and sometimes never comes up with a result either.

My speedtests are healthy and all other Apps and websites seem to work very fast without any issues at all.





Is there a known MS issue these days going on? My location is in Greece, Athens area.

Cannot sync Outlook on my desktop with my live account

To better help you with your concern, kindly tell us which version of Outlook App are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below and check if the same thing will happen:

• Open the Outlook App in safe mode. Here are the steps:
  
  1.1. Press Windows + R, type Outlook /safe, and then hit
  Enter.
• Disable the Outlook connector and then re-enable it.

Outlook syncing issue. Error: 0x80c805f6

• Is the issue the same when trying to sync using a different email account?

Sync Outlook to another PC

An Outlook file format .pst would suggest you're still using POP email. Change your email account to IMAP and you won't need to sync Outlook <> Outlook - you will sync with your email server instead. And your Outlook file will become an .ost extension file.


Being able to change to IMAP email account is probably the reason MS saw it unnecessary to enable synching between devices.
